On November 18, I was officially sworn in to the Pflugerville City Council.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me along the way, and to this community for placing your trust in me. A campaign is built through hundreds of conversations, but the work starts when those conversations become decisions, votes, follow-through, and accountability.
Thank you to Mayor Pro Tem Kimberly Holiday for administering the oath of office and leading the special meeting. Thank you also to Rudy Metayer, Councilmember Melody Ryan, and Doug Weiss for being part of the transition and for the service each of them has given to Pflugerville.
Stepping onto the dais is a responsibility I take seriously. I am ready to get to work and serve all of Pflugerville with transparency, humility, and a commitment to listening.

I took the oath of office for City Council Place 1 and began the transition from campaign promises to council work. That means preparing for meetings, listening to residents, building working relationships with colleagues and staff, and staying focused on the priorities residents raised throughout the campaign: affordability, infrastructure, smart growth, transparency, and accountable local government.
